The 11th Edition

The University of Cassino is proud to announce the 11th edition of the EUROPEAN PHD SCHOOL:POWER ELECTRONICS IN ELECTRICAL MACHINE & ENERGY CONTROL. The School will be held in Brixen, ITALY from March 22-26 2010.

Because of the growing number of international faculty members, as well as the participation of international firms and businesses, for the 2010 edition the School has become fully European.

The National Association of Electrical Drives, ANAE is in charge of the organizational frame of the School whereas the teaching and learning activities are managed by a specific academic committee.

The 11th edition presents some relevant changes:

  • All activities will be held in English
  • Students will be required to make their final presentation in English
  • Enrollment is open to all European Ph.D. students in the fields of Power Electronics and Electrical Systems. Applications from other study areas will be considered.
  • Five lectures will be offered (from 8.30am to 1pm and from 3pm to 5.30pm)
  • One theoretical and practical seminar of 4 hours will be organized (led by a representative of an international firm)
  • The School has obtained the patronage of the European Commission
  • Students will be issued a European participation certificate

As in the past, Brixen will be the site of the School.
